2011 Golf TournamentThe 2011 Southern Colorado PDCA was a lot of fun and we broke the multi year streak of rain delayed tournaments. PDCA Standards Rock Your WorldRock my world? Really? You bet. If you’re a painting and decorating or coatings contractor, the PDCA Standards are an important part of operating your business more successfully. If you’re a consumer of the painting contractors work, the PDCA Standards help ensure you receive the best value for your dollar. How is it the PDCA Standards can benefit both the contractor and the customer/consumer? They’re written to establish the correct path, a measurable practice and provide a ’standard’ from which the industry can operate. Development of a new Standard starts with determining if there is a legitmate reason and need. Data is gathered, a draft is written, edited and eventually, after a lot of review work and final editing, PDCA members and the public are invited to review and comment on a proposed new Standard. After the comment period, the proposed PDCA Standard goes through a final approval process and finally becomes available to the world. |
Winter Party and Installation DinnerMembers were invited to a casual and fun evening at Dave and Busters in Denver. The dinner party served as a joint installation of chapter officers for both the Southern Colorado PDCA and Denver PDCA, held on Saturday, January 30th. Dave and Busters was very busy and crowded with people looking to have fun. Denver Vice President, Guy Miller commented if the crowd demonstrated how the ecomony was doing, it was headed in the right direction. A little different place to hold this dinner though everyone seemed to enjoy playing the games. The marquee of the party room should have read Denver PDCA and Southern Colorado PDCA Party! Judy Satterlee, PDCA Rocky Mountain Council President, installed the officers from both chapters. Thanks to all attendees for coming out and making it a fun evening: Charlie & Vickie Hall Visit the photo album from the evening.
